Ngai Lik's EMS production facilities are located
in Dongguan and Qingyuan, the PRC. The industrial
City in Dongguan was gradually built to attain
economies of scale with a total floor area
occupation of over 250,000 square metres and
is conceived to be one of the largest within
the Guangdong Province. There are over 21,000
workers employed in the Industry City for
which auxiliary living facilities such as
canteens, recreational areas, library and
classrooms are also built for them. Also,
the Dongguan Industrial City has its own electricity
supply with 5 sets of fuel-oil power generators.
Phase one development of the Qingyuan Industrial
Estate was completed, providing production
areas of about 300,000 square meters. Currently,
it has a production capacity of around 25
assembly lines and is fully vertically integrated.
The automation in Qingyuan Industrial Estate
will help in saving the costs in long term
and it will bring synergies to the Group's
existing production plants with benefits from
its uprising economies of scale of production.
One important factor attributed to the success
of Ngai Lik is the vertical integrated production
process whereby more than 70% of the production
processes (excluding the outsourced critical
components), from product design to end product
delivery, are conducted in house. By doing
so, Ngai Lik is able to offer customers with
different advantages including:
