Ngai Lik Industrial Holdings Limited ("Ngai Lik" ) successfully organized a tea gathering named "Afternoon Tea Chit Chat" on 28 May 2005 (Saturday) and received overwhelming support from investors and shareholders with over 100 applicants. Due to venue constraints, the Group selected 38 participants by a ballot and appointed representatives of the Group's management to attend the event.
During the two-hour gathering, the management introduced to investors and shareholders, the Company background and gave recent updates on the Group's developments, so as to enhance their understanding. In addition, participants questioned the management during the question and answer session, expressing their concerns about the Group's business prospects and future development strategies while proactively reflecting their opinions towards the overall management of the Group.
The Group delivered questionnaires to every participant, so as to understand their opinions about the organization of the tea gathering. Amongst the 36 questionnaires received, nearly all participants were satisfied with the arrangement of the tea gathering. Majority of participants considered the tea gathering as an innovative and attractive way to meet with the Group's management and regarded it as a good communication channel. The atmosphere of the event remained relaxed, which enabled amicable communication between the Group's management, shareholders and investors. The Group's management representatives expressed their care and respect for those who attended the event, which impressed the attendees, the most. Furthermore, the Group's management took into consideration the opinion of investors and shareholders towards Ngai Lik's business strategies and future developments, in continuing to expedite the development of its business operations and corporate governance.
